I’m running for re-election because I believe Kyle deserves leadership that listens, brings people together, and puts people first.
When I took office, I knew there would be difficult issues to address. I know I would be rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, and taking a closer look at how our city was being managed. I chose to face those challenges because I believe Kyle is worth the work.
As Mayor, I’ve worked to bring more accountability and transparency to City Hall. I’ve pushed for responsible financial decisions and greater scrutiny of our budget, debt, and long-term commitments. I’ve worked to make sure residents have a voice when it comes to water rates and services, while also recognizing that we must invest in a reliable water system for the future.
I’m also committed to infrastructure. That means continuing to move the road bond forward, improving and maintaining the streets we already have, and making sure the quality of our roads keeps pace with the growth of our community. Growth should mean better infrastructure, not simply more development.
Kyle is growing, and the choices we make today will shape this community for generations. We need to keep asking the hard questions, keep challenging what isn’t working, and make decisions based on what is best for the people who call Kyle home.
To me, leadership is about showing up, listening, bringing people together, and doing the work. It’s about leaving our community stronger than we found it.
I love Kyle. I believe in our people, and I believe in what we can build together.
That’s my why.
There is more work to do, and I’m ready to keep doing it.
As your representative, my focus is on managing our community's growth responsibly, and that starts with the basics. I will continue working hard to improve our local roads, streets, and sidewalks so everyone can get around safely. But responsible growth also means looking beneath the surface. I am committed to ensuring our city has accurate water information, so we truly understand our current and future demands. We must also make sure that any new development keeps pace with the needs of our residents. Together, we can build a stronger future for our neighborhoods by prioritizing smart, sensible infrastructure first.
For me, financial responsibility is about keeping a promise to our community. I am committed to continuing to protect taxpayers and strengthening our city’s finances. That means making thoughtful decisions about our spending, our debt, and our long-term investments to ensure our future is secure.
A big part of this commitment is accountability. I will continue to work with the council to work through and finalize the forensic audits that our residents have asked for. Kyle residents deserve to know that your resources are being managed with care.
My focus has always been on what makes our community thrive, and that starts with the fundamentals of our daily lives here in Kyle. I am committed to ensuring we continue to invest in the essential services that keep our families safe and our neighborhoods strong. For me, that means prioritizing our parks, where our families play and our neighbors gather. It means supporting our public safety so that every resident feels secure in their home. And it means securing reliable water services to support our community. Our neighborhoods are the very heart of Kyle, and they are what make this city such a wonderful place to call home.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
